i like to write an inspirational, or sometimes funny, quote on top of each of my WO2P pages. i keep a running list of these in Evernote, and add to it whenever i read or hear a good one. then, when i start a new diary, i select 52 quotes and write them in my diary. i like to look at them at the beginning of each week, they feel like fortune cookies :)
That's a great idea! I like to write quotes on my weeks also, but I never thought to keep them in a file to choose from each year. Excellent!
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comment!
Deleteactually i started it the other way around, i was collecting quotes i liked into a document on my PC until i thought about putting them in my diary to see everyday... ;)
love it!
ReplyDeleteThanks Tracy!! Long time no talk ;) how are you? How is Ventura with his knee?
DeleteI have a section in my filofax called blessings, though you have to choose to go and look at them, which you don't.
ReplyDeletePerhaps I'll flutter some through my diary pages.
Thank you Susan for commenting! yes at first i thought about having an "inspiration" section, with quotes and also pictures and so on, but in the end i prefer to have them in my main section... i hope you'll like when you try!
DeleteGREAT idea!
ReplyDeleteThanks!! And thanks for stopping by :) Do you put quotes at all in your planner?
DeleteThats a wonderful idea, and the quote on that page is so very true.
ReplyDeletei can get ever so down when something bad happens, only to forget it a few days later!
take care xx
thanks Home&Food! What's funny is that, by the time I've written all the quotes for the year, I'll forget them, so that when a new week arrives, I re-discover the quote... and it always takes a new meaning for me, depending on what I'm living then.
